DWI & Domestic Assault

Defending Your Rights. Protecting Your Future.

Don't let criminal charges of DWI or domestic violence threaten your future. At Arlene M. Asencio Perkkio, Attorney at Law, we work with Twin Cities residents to protect their rights.

Our Approach to Criminal Defense

Our criminal defense lawyer has over 10 years of experience defending clients against criminal charges. We will take an honest and aggressive approach to your defense.

We work with all residents of Minnesota including non-U.S. citizens to fight against criminal charges in negotiation and the courtroom. Se habla español.

If you or a loved one is facing DWI or domestic assault charges, contact us as soon as possible. We represent clients who have been charged with any misdemeanor or felony in state and federal criminal cases.

Driving While Intoxicated

We have years of experience defending adults and juveniles against accusations of drunk driving. We can help you fight DWI charges and avoid consequences of jail time, fines and increased insurance rates. Commercial and underage drivers face even harsher penalties.

Your license will be revoked after you are charged with DWI. When you come in for a free initial consultation, we will help you determine whether an Implied Consent hearing would be helpful. If the officers violated your rights in any way when they charged you with DWI, your license may be reinstated until the DWI hearing.

Many times, it is possible to have evidence against you dismissed if the officers who collected it violated your rights. For example, if the officer didn't read you the Implied Consent Advisory before giving you a breathalyzer test, the results of that test could be dismissed.

Domestic Assault

We can help you fight the domestic violence charges against you. It may be possible to have domestic assault charges reduced or dismissed depending on your situation. Contact us for a free initial consultation to discuss your options.

Domestic abuse charges can come with penalties including restraining orders against seeing your family. If a no contact order has been issued, we will work with you to get your things out of your home until the case has been resolved.

You have the right to remain silent. Don't talk to investigators about any charges without your lawyer present.

Call 651-292-9802, or e-mail us to schedule a free initial consultation. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 651-341-8888. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
